Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani claimed that the London club had weighed in with a "massive" offer for the Brazilian superstar in an attempt to rejuvenate their midfield. However Sky Sports News now claims that the word from Chelsea is a resounding negative on this score, and that Kaká has not been the subject of any bid, let alone a mammoth one.
Apparently the Blues have little interest at all in signing the attacking midfielder despite the fact that he was a mainstay of the Brazilian squad under current Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Scolari, meanwhile, is relishing his new role at the Bridge. Speaking to the club's official website he said, "It is fantastic to finally be here. The training ground is world class and I am very impressed by everything I have seen and heard from the staff.
"I am looking forward to welcoming the players back from their summer holidays tomorrow so we can start working together."
