Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has revealed that Chelsea were about make a €94m offer for Kaka before he stepped in to tell the Blues they had no chance of landing the player.

Reports in both England and Italy claimed that Chelsea were interested in making a mega swoop for the Brazilian star.

“I told them no straightaway just as they were about to make an offer.

“I am not sure if they would have offered us €94m. ... Read more »

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani claimed that the London club had weighed in with a "massive" offer for the Brazilian superstar in an attempt to rejuvenate their midfield.

Apparently the Blues have little interest at all in signing the attacking midfielder despite the fact that he was a mainstay of the Brazilian squad under current Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Scolari, meanwhile, is relishing his new role at the Bridge. Speaking to the club's official website he said, "It is fantastic to finally be here. The... Read more »
